Morecambe Beer Festival is run by an enthusiastic team of volunteers on behalf of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).
The aim is to promote real ale in the local community, and in so doing support the pubs and bars in and around Morecambe who serve superb real ale 52 weeks a year.
CAMRA is a non-for-profit consumer organization, and therefore we donate to two worthy charities over the course of the festival.
The Friends or the Winter Gardens, who undertake the custodial duties of the iconic Winter Gardens venue, and organize a team of dedicated and skilled volunteers to undertake the conservation and renovation work of the building.
The RNLI for their unending work in and around the Morecambe Bay area, keeping locals and tourist safe. RNLI is als one of CAMRA's national chosen charities

We have a wonderful group of volunteers that have helped set up and run the festival for the last 2 years, however, as we are growing year on year, we need to add to our team. If you feel you have a few hours of your time that you can donate to us, please come along and join the fun! We are looking for people who can help with the set-up and take-down, as well as serving beer and front of house. Training will be given for all ‘jobs’ so don’t worry if you have never ‘pulled a pint’ before, we’ll soon get you pouring like a pro!
The festival itself will be open from 5pm Thursday 14th August to Saturday 16th at 11pm.
